Full job description

Hiring a Window Assembler for a window company in Mississauga.

Shift: 8 am - 4pm

Pay: $17.60-$22.50/hour

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing or assembly environment and be comfortable using hand and power tools to assemble window components efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production drawings.
Measure, cut, and prepare aluminum or PVC profiles and related materials.
Assemble window frames, sashes, glass panes, gaskets, and hardware components.
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and manufacturing equipment.
Inspect completed products to ensure quality standards are met.
Follow workplace health and safety procedures, especially when handling glass and heavy materials.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Operate a forklift as required to move materials throughout the warehouse and production area.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
Assist with various production and installation-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience in window or door assembly/manufacturing.
Experience using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment.
Forklift experience is considered an asset.
