Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences in selecting vehicles.
- Demonstrate vehicles and explain features, benefits, and financing options.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients to foster repeat business and referrals.
- Manage the sales pipeline effectively, tracking leads from initial contact through to closing the sale.
- Utilize phone etiquette to follow up with potential customers and schedule appointments.
- Collaborate with the sales management team to develop strategies for achieving sales targets.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings.
- Assist customers with paperwork and ensure a smooth transaction process.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the buying experience to enhance customer satisfaction.
Experience
- Proven experience in retail sales or outside sales, preferably within a dealership setting.
- Strong understanding of sales management principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations related to financing options and vehicle pricing.
- Bilingual candidates are highly desirable, as they can assist a broader range of customers.
- Familiarity with managing a sales pipeline is beneficial for tracking progress and closing deals.
