This posting is to establish a relief/stand-by staff list for upcoming shifts and future openings. There is no guaranteed immediate vacancy.

Qualifications and Skills:

Completion of a recognized PSW program or completion of your first year in a recognized Practical Nursing or BSCN program (required)
Flexibility to work out of town, in different homes, and in different shifts
Excellent attendance and punctuality
Hardworking, compassionate, positive, solution-oriented, professional, and adaptable
LTC experience is considered an asset
Must have access to own transportation

**ALL NECESSARY PPE WILL BE PROVIDED ON-SITE**

PSW's are responsible for assisting residents in their activities of daily living. The specific responsibilities and duties vary slightly between facilities, as well as from shift to shift, but may include; bathing, toileting, dressing, portering, performing lifts and transfers and liaising with other healthcare team members. Expectations will be communicated during the site-specific orientation of each facility.

Schedule:

Plan A staff have exclusive use of StaffStat, which means you have shifts in the palm of your hand. Our scheduling team will work with you to create a schedule that provides our partners the support they need and the flexibility that you need.

Day, evening, and night shifts
Holidays
Weekends

We work with multiple LTC facilities in the region, and our opportunities will be available at various locations. Because of this, your commute within the region could range from 5-minutes to an hour, depending on the facility's location. This job advert is in connection to a current vacancy with Plan A.
