Chef formateur – Pâtisserie,
Temps partiel (bilingue)

Présence obligatoire en soirée, de 16h00 à 21h00, du lundi au jeudi, avec parfois un cours le samedi après-midi ou en semaine.

Taux horaire: 28 $ à 32 $ par heure, selon le niveau d'expérience

Nombre d'heures par semaine : 18 – 24 (c. à .d. de 3 à 4 cours par semaine)

Date limite d'inscription : 1 septembre 2026

Les candidats retenus possédant les qualités et l'expérience suivantes seront contactés pour un entretien :

– Bilingue – Capable d’enseigner en anglais et en français (courant)
– Expérience en cuisine professionnelle dans la pâtisserie (2 ans et plus)
– Formation aux techniques de pâtisserie française (certifiée)
– Expérience antérieure d'enseignement auprès d'adultes et d'enfants, ou de prise de parole en public (atout)
– Personnalité dynamique, quelqu’un qui aime aider les autres et s’épanouit dans un environnement multitâche

Les étudiants en arts culinaires et les jeunes diplômés sont invités à postuler s'ils répondent aux critères ci-dessus.

Responsabilités :

– Animer des ateliers de pâtisserie pour adultes et enfants de 12 à 15 ans
– Démontrer les techniques de pâtisserie française, notamment le tempérage du chocolat, la confection et la décoration de gâteaux, les macarons, les croissants, les tartes et autres pâtes à pâtisserie.
– Assurer un environnement d’apprentissage sûr, amusant et éducatif
– Aide à la préparation des ingrédients et du matériel pédagogique
– Entretenir le matériel de cuisine et les espaces pédagogiques

Exigences scolaires:

Diplôme en arts de la pâtisserie
Expérience en enseignement (préférée)
Attestation de sécurité alimentaire
Certification Sceau rouge (atout)

Compétences professionnelles:

– Excellentes capacités de communication en français et en anglais
– Style d’enseignement patient et engageant
– Solides compétences en gestion de classe
– Capacité à adapter l'enseignement aux différents styles d'apprentissage
– Autonome, capable d’agir rapidement face à des événements imprévus

Hourly rate: $28 to $32 per hour, depending on level of experience

Number of hours per week: 18 – 24 (Equivalent of 3 to 4 classes per week)

Successful candidates who possess the following qualities and experience will be contacted for an interview:

– Bilingual – Able to teach in English and French (fluent)
– Experience in a professional kitchen doing pastries (2+ years)
– Trained in French Cuisine Pastry techniques (Certified)
– Previous experience teaching adults and children, or public speaking (asset)
– Dynamic personality, someone who loves to help others and thrives in a multi-tasking environment

Students of culinary programs and recent graduates are welcome to apply if above criteria are met.

Responsibilities:

– Lead pastry classes for adults and children ages 12 to 15
– Demonstrate French Cuisine Pastry techniques, including tempering chocolate, cakes and cake decorating, macarons, croissants, pies, other pastry doughs
– Ensure a safe, fun, and educational learning environment
– Help in preparation of ingredients and teaching materials
– Maintain kitchen equipment and teaching spaces

Educational Requirements:

Pastry Arts diploma
Teaching experience (preferred)
Food safety certification
Red Seal certification (asset)

Professional Skills:

– Excellent communication abilities in French and English
– Patient and engaging teaching style
– Strong classroom management skills
– Ability to adapt instruction for different learning styles
– Self-reliant, able to act quickly when faced with unforeseen events
