Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime hours 7am - 5pm

We are looking for a reliable, skilled, all-around construction technician to support active residential new-build and renovation projects across Ottawa.
This is not a basic labourer role and not a pure handyman service-call role. We need someone who is comfortable on active job sites, can work with their hands, solve problems, and handle a wide variety of construction and repair tasks without constant supervision.
What you'll do:
- Support residential new construction projects and smaller renovation tasks
- Frame small walls, backing, bulkheads, and site modifications
- Complete drywall repairs, patching, and minor finishing work
- Handle small repairs and touch-ups
- Assist with deficiencies, punch-list work, and site cleanup/detailing
- Perform occasional exterior and manual work or other site support tasks
- Help keep projects moving by solving practical day-to-day site issues
- Travel between job sites as needed
What we're looking for:
- Strong hands-on construction experience
- Comfortable doing a mix of framing, drywall, repair, finishing, and general site work
- Able to work independently and figure things out without being babysat
- Good attitude, dependable, and takes pride in doing solid work
- Physically capable of manual work
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation preferred
- Experience in residential construction is strongly preferred
