Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our busy kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking menu items, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for food service and restaurant experience to contribute to a dynamic culinary environment.

Duties

Prepare and assemble ingredients for menu items, ensuring quality and freshness
Cook dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations throughout shifts
Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
Support the kitchen team during busy periods to ensure timely service
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Adhere to health and safety regulations in food handling and sanitation

Skills

Experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service environments
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant setting
Strong understanding of meal preparation processes within the food industry
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in dish quality
Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
