Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking friendly, attentive, and professional Servers to join our dynamic restaurant team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and experience in food service. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while delivering outstanding guest services.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met in accordance with health regulations
Assist in food preparation when necessary and maintain cleanliness of workstations
Manage multiple tables effectively through excellent time management and multitasking skills
Address guest inquiries promptly, providing excellent guest services and resolving any issues professionally
Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth restaurant operations

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred, especially within the food industry or hospitality sector
Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Ability to handle food safely and maintain sanitation standards
Basic math skills for billing, cash handling, and order calculations
Excellent time management skills to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
Experience with food handling, preparation, and serving techniques preferred
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Kitchen experience or familiarity with food safety protocols is advantageous
