Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Kitchen Supervisor to lead our culinary team and ensure the smooth operation of our food service establishment. In this role, you will oversee daily kitchen activities, maintain high standards of food quality and safety, and foster a positive, team-oriented environment. Your leadership will be instrumental in delivering exceptional dining experiences while upholding the integrity of our food handling procedures. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about food preparation, restaurant management, and team development to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Duties

Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety standards
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and consistency across all menu items
Manage food handling procedures, ensuring compliance with health regulations and safety protocols
Lead, motivate, and manage kitchen staff to foster teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and timely delivery of orders
Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and control waste to optimize kitchen resources
Enforce sanitation standards and conduct regular cleanliness inspections to uphold hygiene excellence

Skills

Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or food service environment
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Excellent team management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff
Solid understanding of restaurant management principles and operational workflows
Expertise in food safety practices and handling procedures
Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and management
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment while maintaining attention to detail
