Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team at a vibrant hotel/resort. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently while maintaining accurate guest records.
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to assist guests effectively.
Process payments and manage billing accurately during the night audit if required.
Operate multi-line phone systems to respond to calls promptly and direct them as needed.
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction throughout their stay.
Assist in managing reservations and coordinating guest services as needed.

Skills

Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a hotel or resort environment.
Strong hospitality management skills with an emphasis on guest relations.
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse guests.
Familiarity with hotel management software is a plus; experience with night audit procedures is advantageous.
Excellent phone etiquette and proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
