Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Manager to lead our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring a welcoming environment for guests. The Front of House Manager will play a key role in maintaining high standards of food safety, hospitality, and operational efficiency within our establishment.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders to ensure smooth daily operations
Oversee food preparation and serving processes, ensuring adherence to food safety and handling standards
Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling procedures
Lead team management activities including interviewing, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly
Monitor restaurant cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health regulations
Assist in food industry-related tasks such as food presentation, hospitality services, and kitchen coordination when needed
Implement and uphold restaurant policies related to food safety, hospitality standards, and team management
Support in managing barista or beverage service operations if applicable
Foster a positive team environment through effective leadership and communication

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience in food service or restaurant management roles
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling practices
Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS; cash handling expertise required
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry
Previous restaurant or hotel management experience preferred
Background in serving or barista experience is a plus
Ability to interview potential team members and contribute to hiring decisions
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
