Hello, I’m Caroline, a Recruitment Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in finance roles. I handle two types of placements: temporary and permanent positions on Montreal’s South Shore. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and understands your industry. We cover roles in accounting, finance, and payroll. I am currently seeking an Assistant Controller for my client based on Montreal’s South Shore. This is a permanent, on-site position.

YOUR MISSIONS

Manage the entire accounting cycle and participate in month-end activities.
Prepare monthly financial statements and analyze budget variances.
Participate in the development and monitoring of budgets, as well as in the analysis of cost of goods sold.
Perform bank reconciliations, file tax returns, and track fixed assets and inventory.
Monitor accounts receivable and invoicing, and oversee accounts payable.
Verify payroll processing and support managers in analyzing financial information.
Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes and perform various financial analyses.

YOUR PROFILE

DEC or bachelor’s degree in accounting (or equivalent experience).
2 to 4 years of experience in a similar position, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP software (Navision is a plus).
Solid knowledge of general accounting, month-end processes, and cost accounting.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills.
Attention to detail, ability to work independently, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and a team player.
