Full job description

Please note that this is a full-time temporary position scheduled from August 31, 2026 to December 4, 2026. Depending on business needs and operational requirements, the duration of the assignment may be revised or extended.

OVERVIEW

As part of the production team, your primary responsibility will be to assist the CNC operators and allow them to run the machines with minimum interruptions. You will be responsible to the labeling of produced wheels as well as ensuring correct and smooth flow of goods in and out of the production area. If you like staying busy and physically active, paying attention to safety and cleanliness in the workplace, and delivering quality work within given deadlines, we want to hear from you.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Check the dimensions of parts machined using micrometers, calipers and other precision measuring instruments.
Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment.
Load and position proper material on to CNC.
Monitor material to ensure quality standards are met.
Properly label and organize parts to ensure production flow.
Assist other operations departments when in the slow season and workload is low.
Communicate with management and coworkers to achieve goals.
Maintain and clean machinery and workspace.
Follow shop safety standards at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS

Proficiency using calipers, micrometers and measuring instruments to examine parts adequately.
Able to repeatedly lift 60 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
Bilingual would be an asset.
Knowledge and basic proficiency in MS Excel.
Knowledge of the automotive industry would be an asset.
Ability to operate a forklift would be an asset.

CONDITIONS

This position does not require any traveling.
