Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $19.62 - $26.50 per visit

What you will need to be successful
- You possess a post-secondary diploma as an Occupational Therapy/ Physiotherapy Assistant (OTA/PTA)
- Valid Driver's License, Vehicle Insurance, and reliable vehicle is required
- You have a general knowledge of mobility aids and assistive equipment
- Your focus is to embrace and support person and family-centered care
- You are passionate, empathetic, use good judgement and apply critical thinking when making decisions
- You are known for your excellent communication skills and ability to work in collaboration within an interdisciplinary team as well as work independently
- You value the role a therapist plays in keeping clients at home when that is of personal importance
What's the role:
- Prepare clients for treatment and progress clients through treatment programs
- Assist with and/or teach client therapy programs and training activities of daily living, including the use of assistive equipment and balance training
- Assist in the use of therapeutic equipment including set up, take down, and cleaning/disinfecting. Ensure equipment is in good working order
- Apply modalities, including but not limited to heat, ice, ultrasound, IFC, EMS, TENS, and Low Intensity
- Responsible for writing clear professional, objective and accurate documentation in client communication records
