Welcome to Sooke Harbour House, one of Vancouver Island’s most iconic and celebrated culinary destinations. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, our kitchen is just steps away from some of the richest ecosystems on the coast—providing a direct line from the tidepools, forests, gardens, and local farms to the plate.

This isn’t just a job — it’s an opportunity to cook in a place that’s genuinely alive with inspiration. We’re looking for a skilled, passionate, and detail-oriented Line Cook to join our kitchen brigade and help deliver memorable, seasonal cuisine that’s true to the region.

What You’ll Do

Execute dishes to spec during service with consistency and care
Stay ahead of prep and mise en place to keep service smooth
Work clean, organized, and respectfully within the brigade
Contribute ideas, give and receive feedback, and continue learning
Bring a sense of pride and purpose to your station

What You Bring

At least 1–2 years of professional kitchen experience
Solid understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen best practices
Passion for seasonal ingredients and sustainable food systems
Positive, proactive attitude and ability to work under pressure
Food Safe certification (or willingness to obtain it before starting)
