About the Role:

· SPA Engineering has an immediate need for a Junior/Senior Structural Engineering Technologist with experience in the design and construction of wood, steel and concrete buildings.

· Job opening in Edmonton

Job Duties:

· Prepare contract drawings and specifications for commercial, institutional, residential and industrial facilities

· Review documents for coordination with other engineering disciplines and verify accuracy and compliance with applicable CAD standards

· Perform other design related tasks as directed by the supervisor

· Provide construction site inspections to ensure projects are constructed according to the design documents

· Able to meet deadlines, and able to work alone or with a team

Skills and Qualifications:

· Diploma in Engineering Technology

· Must be familiar with Revit

· Must have strong communication (written and verbal) skills

Experience:

· Engineering drafting: 2 years (preferred)

· Revit: 2 years (preferred)

· Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
