Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our busy hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation of all kitchenware and utensils, ensuring a smooth flow of operations within the restaurant or hotel environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience within the hospitality industry and develop skills in food preparation and kitchen management.

Duties

Wash, rinse, and sanitise dishes, cutlery, glassware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils efficiently and thoroughly
Ensure all items are returned to their proper storage areas in a clean and organised manner
Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors, sinks, and work surfaces
Assist with basic food preparation tasks as required, supporting the kitchen team during busy periods
Follow health and safety guidelines to uphold hygiene standards at all times
Manage waste disposal responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are adhered to
Support other kitchen staff with general cleaning duties to maintain a hygienic environment

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
Familiarity with food preparation, cooking processes, or culinary environments is desirable
Experience working in a fast-paced environment demonstrates organisational skills and ability to multitask effectively
Knowledge of health and safety standards within a kitchen setting is beneficial but not mandatory

This role is ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality who wish to develop their skills in a dynamic team environment. The position offers valuable experience in food service operations while contributing to the overall guest experience.
