Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our construction and maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing principles, mechanical systems, and the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. The Plumber will work closely with other trades such as carpentry and HVAC to ensure efficient project completion and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, and appliances in various settings.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and specifications.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete installations and repairs accurately.
Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to facilitate project progress.
Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate work activities and ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and perform necessary maintenance or replacements.
Assist with related tasks such as carpentry or assembly when required for project completion.
Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to all safety protocols during operations.

Requirements

Proven experience in plumbing installation, repair, or maintenance within residential or commercial environments.
Mechanical knowledge combined with skills in carpentry, HVAC systems, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction-related tools.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments.
Strong understanding of construction practices and safety standards relevant to plumbing work.
Valid driver’s license with experience in commercial driving preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
