Full job description

We are currently seeking an experienced Skilled Labourer to join our construction team. This is a hands-on role suited for individuals with a strong background in carpentry and general construction who are comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled construction professional looking for long-term potential with a growing team. Candidates who are dependable, safety-conscious, and take pride in their work are encouraged to apply.

THE JOB

Measure and cut materials as directed
Assist with framing, deck building, and siding installation
Support general installations and construction tasks
Prepare and maintain tools and equipment
Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe
Transport materials and tools between work areas (site runner duties)

WHY YOU SHOULD APPLY

$22.00 – $25.00 per hour + 4% vacation pay depending on experience
Monday to Friday, 7:15 AM – 5:30 / 6:00 PM
Weekly pay by direct deposit
Opportunity for long-term, permanent employment for candidates who demonstrate strong performance and reliability

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 3+ years of carpentry or construction experience
Strong familiarity with hand and power tools (e.g., drills, band saws)
Valid fall arrest and elevated work platform certifications
Must provide own hammer and tool pouch
Physically fit and comfortable working at heights (up to 30 feet)
Reliable transportation is required
