Full job description

Best Personnel Inc. is currently hiring Warehouse Labourers and General Labourers to join our dispatch pool for various warehouse and industrial assignments throughout the Lower Mainland.

We are looking for reliable, hard-working individuals who are comfortable working in fast-paced environments. Work may include both heavy and non-heavy labour days, depending on the assignment. Some positions may also be in cold storage facilities, so candidates must be comfortable working in cooler environments when required.

What this role involves

Duties may vary depending on the site, but can include:

Loading and unloading materials
Moving, organizing, and stacking products
Picking, packing, sorting, and labeling items
Assisting with shipping and receiving
Keeping the work area clean and organized
Following site safety procedures and supervisor instructions
Performing general labour duties as needed

Requirements

Previous warehouse, labour, or industrial experience is an asset
Must be reliable and able to show up on time
Comfortable with physical work and being on your feet
Able to lift, carry, push, and pull items as required
Comfortable working in cold storage environments when needed
Must be able to follow instructions and communicate clearly in English for safety purposes
Must have proper work authorization in Canada

Tickets and certifications are a plus

The following are not always required but are considered an asset:

Forklift ticket
Pallet jack experience
WHMIS
First Aid
Fall Protection
Any other warehouse, equipment, or safety-related tickets

Required gear

Candidates may be required to have:

Steel-toed boots
Weather-appropriate clothing
Warm clothing for cold storage assignments when applicable
Any additional PPE required by the worksite
