WE'RE HIRING - GLOBAL CONTENT CREATOR, VIDEOGRAPHER & EDITOR
Full-Time | White Rock, British Columbia | Extensive Worldwide Travel
Phoenix Dogs Worldwide is a rapidly growing global specialist dog company working with high-profile clients, professional athletes and private families across Canada, the UK, Europe, the United States, the Middle East and beyond.
We are looking for an exceptional Content Creator, Videographer & Editor to become a long-term member of our growing international media team.
This is not a Social Media Manager position. We already have a full-time Social Media Manager overseeing our platforms, strategy and publishing schedule.
Your role will be to work alongside our Social Media Manager, founder and wider media team to capture, edit and produce outstanding long-form and short-form content that builds the global presence of Phoenix Dogs Worldwide.
This is not a conventional office-based or predictable 9-to-5 position. Our clients lead fast-moving international lifestyles, so much of our content must be captured in real time.
You must be comfortable running and gunning, reacting quickly and producing excellent work wherever the job takes you. You could be filming across British Columbia one week and travelling internationally the next, sometimes at relatively short notice.
YOUR OWN EQUIPMENT IS REQUIRED
Applicants must already own and use a complete, professional and travel-ready production setup suitable for producing premium commercial content.
This should include:
- Professional camera equipment and suitable lenses.
- High-quality audio equipment.
- Stabilisation equipment such as a gimbal and tripod.
- Portable lighting equipment.
- A powerful laptop capable of handling professional video editing.
- Appropriate storage, drives and file-management equipment.
- Licensed professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or an equivalent platform.
- Everything required to film, edit and deliver content independently while travelling.
You must be able to edit efficiently on the move, including from hotels, vehicles, airports and international locations. You cannot be dependent on returning to a fixed studio or desktop setup before work can be completed.
Your equipment must be properly maintained, reliable and suitable for frequent international travel.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Filming and editing premium long-form and short-form content.
- Producing reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, full-length YouTube videos, client testimonials, dog handovers, case studies, behind-the-scenes footage, lifestyle content and founder-led educational videos.
- Working alongside our Social Media Manager and international media team to strengthen our global media presence.
- Capturing outstanding content in fast-paced, unpredictable and constantly changing environments.
- Running and gunning around client schedules without compromising creative or technical quality.
- Directing clients, team members and our founder confidently and naturally on camera.
- Turning raw footage into polished content with strong pacing, storytelling, sound design, colour grading and attention to detail.
- Creating compelling narratives across short-form, long-form and documentary-style content.
- Planning shoots and preparing equipment while remaining ready to react to unexpected opportunities.
- Bringing fresh creative ideas to the team without waiting to be asked.
- Organising, labelling, backing up and safely managing large volumes of footage.
- Editing and delivering content quickly while travelling.
- Communicating clearly and consistently with an international team across different locations and time zones.

Applications from agencies, production companies, studios or individuals seeking occasional project work will not be considered. We are specifically looking for one committed individual who wants to become an important long-term part of an exciting and rapidly developing global company.

- A proactive, low-ego and solutions-focused mindset.
- The ability to manage deadlines and large volumes of footage independently.
- Discretion and professionalism around high-profile clients and private families.
