Full job description

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager to join our team in the entertainment/hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and retail management, the entertainment sector or in a similar role, possess strong leadership skills, and excel in providing exceptional customer service. Must be 18 years of age or older, if an interview is requested government issued photo identification will be required.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily operations during assigned shifts
- Manage staff including scheduling, training and performance evaluations
- Liaison with Kitchen and Bar areas to assist in ensuring high-quality food preparation and service standards are maintained
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
- Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Collaborate with management to streamline processes
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations

-Attend regular management meetings and report neccesary information.

-Assist with the onboarding process of new employees inclusive of training ect.

Experience:

- Previous experience in a restaurant ,hospitality or entertainment setting.
- Proficiency in shift management and team leadership
- Strong knowledge of food service operations
- Excellent customer service skills
- Familiarity with kitchen and bar management practices
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Join our team as a Assistant Manager and be part of a dynamic work environment where you shine with your leadership skills and passion for the food/entertainment industry. Valid smart serve as asset. MUST HAVE 2+ YEARS IN SIMILAR ROLE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION. Must have valid drivers licence and be available to work day shift, evening shift and weekends to be considered for this position. Not an ideal position for student's due to the working hours required for the position.

Expected hours: 30 –44 hours per week

10 hour shift
8 hour shift
Day shift
Evening shift
Every Weekend

Work Location: In person
