Hilton Garden Inn Niagara-on-the-Lake is looking for a part-time Kitchen Helper to join our team.
Our hotel is located less than 2 km from the Outlet Collection at Niagara and just minutes from Old Town and Niagara Falls. Join a team recognized among the World’s Best Workplaces.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start their first kitchen job, gain experience, or continue developing their skills. Previous kitchen, restaurant, or hotel experience is an asset, but training will be provided.
Please note: This is a fast-paced kitchen environment. We need someone who can work quickly, stay focused, follow instructions, and keep up with the team during busy periods. If you are not comfortable working in a fast-paced environment or are not willing to work at a quick pace, please do not apply.
What will I be doing?
As a Kitchen Helper, you will support the culinary team and help keep the kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly. Responsibilities include:
- Assist with basic food preparation
- Wash and clean dishes, utensils, pots, and pans
- Keep kitchen areas clean and organized
- Clean floors, work surfaces, and equipment
- Stock and organize supplies
- Help with kitchen setup and cleanup
- Assist with events and functions when needed
- Support cooks and other kitchen team members during service
- Follow food safety and cleanliness standards
- Perform other kitchen duties as required
