Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative Cake Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and decorating cakes, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. This role involves creating visually appealing cakes for various occasions, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation. The Cake Decorator will work closely with customers to understand their needs and bring their cake visions to life.

Duties

Decorate cakes according to customer specifications and design requests.
Prepare and bake cakes, ensuring all ingredients are handled safely and in accordance with food handling regulations.
Collaborate with team members to create new cake designs and flavors.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards.
Package finished products for delivery or display, ensuring they are presented attractively.
Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including mixing batter and preparing frosting.

Skills

Strong cake decorating skills with an eye for detail and aesthetics.
Experience in the food industry, particularly in a restaurant or bakery setting.
Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and quality.
Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and understand their needs.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in baking and decorating.
Creativity in designing unique cake styles that appeal to diverse customer preferences.
