If you desire to share your expertise in adult swimming lessons and can empower individuals with varying skill levels to reach their full potential, then we want you on board. Work Location: Toronto, Ontario–based company serving Downtown Toronto, Midtown Toronto, North York, East York, Scarborough, and Etobicoke.

Qualifications:

· Must have Swim Instructor (Lifesaving Society) certification

· Must have Swim Instructor (Red Cross) certification

· Must have National Lifeguard Service (NLS) Certification

· Must have Standard First Aid and CPR Certification

· Must have a valid background check completed

Insurance:

· All swim instructors should be insured.

Responsibilities:

· Put in place a safety strategy when monitoring clients/customers. Ensure they’re safe in a fun environment during activities.

· Coordinate activities to support our mission. Ensure a safe and legal environment. Promote excellent client/customer service and help cultivate a strong brand image.

· Put in place a quality control strategy. Coordinate with all stakeholders and ensure its effectiveness. Provide superior quality client/customer service with the help of various communication tools.

· Review all client/customer progressions with the activities. Liaise with us where required.

· Service clients/customers, track and respond to complaints and inappropriate behaviour. Escalate when necessary.

· Review the technique guidelines located in the manuals. Adapt methods where appropriate. Ensure they are up to date.

· Produce reports relevant to clients/customer progressions. Highlight any issues and outcomes.

· Track effective benchmarks for measuring client/customer progression. Analyze reviews. Report on the effectiveness of the quality control policy.

· Give clients/customers feedback and insights on the progress gained from activities.

· Track all industry, company, and facility information and news to identify potential issues.

Tools:

· Must have instruction materials for adult swimming lessons and adult training sessions.

· Must have a computer or tablet with Wi-Fi, as well as other equipment and software.

· Must have a smartphone with data, other accessories and apps

· Must have access to swimming aids and training aids.

Language:

· English

Education:

· Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

· Must have formal or informal education in adult swimming lessons.

Facilities:

· Should have access to a pool.

Experience:

· At least 1+ years of practical experience doing adult swimming lessons.

· Proficient in your skills.

Requirements:

· Excellent technical, problem-solving, problem-preventing, and creative-thinking skills and abilities.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills and abilities to understand clients’/customers’ needs.

· Can focus on and multitask a variety of different activities at a time.

· An open-minded individual who can customize activities and create and deliver manual content.

· Positive, enthusiastic, reliable, energetic, punctual, hardworking and willing to learn.

· Proven organizational skills to plan and work without compromising quality.

· Self-motivated self-starter with the ability to work and deliver results.

· Approachable and professional demeanour established trusting relationships with clients/customers.

· Ability to create schedules and meet tight deadlines while working with us.

· Takes initiative and identifies areas for improvement and recommends solutions.

Benefits:

· Provide opportunities for you to have a flexible work schedule.

· Provide opportunities for you to set your pricing, where our platform retains 20%, Stripe claims 5%, leaving you with 75% - 65%. However, factor in potential deductions, such as a 10% deduction for points redeemed by users, and/or a 10% decrease for applied discounts.

· Provide opportunities for you to retain your existing clients while operating as a merchant on our platform.

· Provide opportunities for you to grow your client base and attract new customers as a merchant.
