Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Executive Sous Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a key leader in the kitchen, supporting the Executive Chef in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. Your energetic approach and leadership skills will inspire the culinary team to deliver memorable dining experiences. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise, manage a talented team, and contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.

Responsibilities

Assist the Executive Chef in managing all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Supervise and motivate kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow, high-quality food production, and adherence to recipes and standards.
Oversee food handling procedures, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and sanitation standards at all times.
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless food service and timely delivery of dishes to guests.
Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and control waste to optimize kitchen efficiency.
Lead by example in food preparation and cooking techniques, fostering a culture of excellence within the team.
Conduct regular training sessions on food safety, hygiene practices, and new menu items to enhance team skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment.
Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management.
Extensive food service experience with a solid understanding of restaurant operations.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse culinary team.
Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and proper food handling procedures.
Experience in bartending or serving is a plus for supporting overall restaurant operations.
Excellent communication skills combined with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
