What your day will look like:
- Prepare all aspects of food production in accordance with hotel standards and established sanitation practices.
- Produce menu items using approved methods, ensuring consistency, quality, and minimal waste.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and safety at all times to support an exceptional guest experience.
- Participate in the daily cleaning and organization of walk-ins, storage areas, and refrigerators, ensuring proper stock rotation and cleanliness.
- Ensure all equipment in the work area is cleaned and maintained after each use.
- Work comfortably in a range of temperature environments, from -18°C to 40°C.
- Stand and/or walk for periods of up to four hours at a time.
- Promptly report any equipment requiring repair to the Chef.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Chef to support kitchen operations.
- Review and monitor personal work schedules as part of regular responsibilities
Your experience and skills include:
- High school diploma or equivalent education is required.
- Valid Food Safe certification is required.
- Completion of a recognized culinary program is highly recommended.
- Ability to obtain and maintain any required provincial or federal licenses, certificates, or permits.
- Previous hotel or restaurant experience is considered an asset.
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English; proficiency in a second language is an asset.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts as required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 kg.
- All employees are expected to maintain a neat, clean, and well‑groomed appearance in accordance with hotel standards.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada. Valid Work or Study Permits – 1 Year Minimum Validity.

Recent attempts involve fake LinkedIn profiles set up to appear that persons affiliated with the Hotel are seeking applicants to fill positions.
