We are looking for an experienced Pipe Foreman to lead crews in the installation of underground municipal utilities including water, sewer, and storm systems. This role requires strong hands-on leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to work closely with Superintendents to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and to specification.
We take significant pride in bringing on our crew members with the expertise to operate a variety of machines and drive a range of trucks in addition to their other practical skills.

Reports to: Superintendent
Location: British Columbia - local hires from Kelowna and Vernon. No accommodations provided, travel to and from site daily.
Rotation: 5 Days on 2 Days off - 10 hour days
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise pipelayer crews in daily operations
- Install underground utilities including water, sanitary, and storm systems
- Oversee manhole, catch basin, and pipe installation
- Read and interpret construction drawings, grades, and specifications
- Work with GPS and laser grade equipment to ensure accurate installation
- Coordinate equipment and materials needed for daily tasks
- Ensure proper bedding, alignment, and compaction of pipe systems
- Maintain productivity while ensuring quality workmanship
- Enforce safety policies and lead by example on site
- Communicate effectively with Superintendents, operators, and crew members
Qualifications:
- 3–5+ years of experience in underground utilities, with leadership experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of pipe installation, grades, and municipal standards
- Experience leading crews and coordinating daily work activities
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and grade stakes
- Familiarity with GPS machine control and/or laser equipment
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Valid driver’s license
