Full job description

Historic Spinnakers Brewpub has an opportunity for a Sous Chef to join our kitchen leadership team! Reporting to Executive Chef Ben Clayards, our ideal candidate brings equal parts passion for creating delicious local food, fostering a warm & guest-focused environment, and excitement towards leading our team.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing the culinary team in terms of food production, cleaning, and labour budgeting
Connecting with FOH team leads to manage room flow and guest expectations
Identifying areas for improvement and approaching improvement with a "solutions-oriented" mindset.
Maintaining a positive attitude, even as challenges arise.

It is expected that all tasks are carried out with keen attention to maintaining a safe and equitable work environment.

Job Type / Category

Full time, evening Sous Chef. Must be able to work evenings and weekends consistently.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

Minimum 3 years leadership experience within a high volume kitchen environment. Food Safe Level 1 required.
