Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Account Executive, Public Relations to lead integrated public relations, branding, and digital marketing initiatives for a diverse client portfolio. Reporting to the Chief of Operations, this role is responsible for developing and executing media relations, content, branding, and digital marketing strategies that increase brand awareness, audience engagement, and client growth.
The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator with strong experience in public relations, social media, digital advertising, content creation, and client relationship management. This individual thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands evolving digital trends, and can translate analytics and audience insights into impactful campaigns and measurable results.
Responsibilities
- Public Relations & Media Strategy
- Build and maintain relationships with media contacts, journalists, influencers, and publications
Digital Marketing & Strategy
- Develop and implement both short- and long-term online marketing strategies that consistently meet or exceed objectives
- Execute digital marketing initiatives including: Social media marketing, SEO and SEM, Online advertising campaigns, Audience targeting initiatives
- Develop pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns using Google Ads and other advertising platforms
- Use customer behavior, analytics, campaign insights, and market research to optimize marketing strategies
- Identify target audiences and recommend effective marketing channels and campaign approaches
- Write digital strategies for media packages in collaboration with Client Managers
- Monitor evolving digital trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and client growth
Content Creation & Brand Management
- Create and manage content calendars tailored to individual client goals and objectives
- Write, edit, and publish high-quality marketing and communications content
- Develop newsletters, blogs, website copy, social media content, press releases, case studies, and other collateral
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all content aligns with client brand standards and messaging
- Create and execute social engagement strategies while actively engaging with online audiences
- Procure or create visual assets including graphics, videos, charts, thumbnails, PDFs, and promotional materials
- Ensure all content is optimized for search engines and third-party digital platforms
Research, Analytics & Reporting
- Conduct market and stakeholder research to support strategic planning
- Monitor publicity, media coverage, campaign performance, and audience engagement
- Analyze campaign metrics and provide strategic recommendations based on results
- Establish KPIs and provide monthly reporting to leadership and clients
- Understand audience demographics and media selection strategies to maximize campaign effectiveness
Client Relationship & Project Management
- Manage client meetings, timelines, and deliverables
- Maintain exceptional client service and communication throughout all projects
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget
- Identify and resolve issues impacting project execution or campaign performance
- Track project progress, billable hours, and campaign outcomes
- Develop and execute proactive PR and media outreach strategies
- Manage media inquiries, press releases, and day-to-day media relations activities
- Coordinate speaking opportunities, sponsorships, awards submissions, and press events
- Assist in crisis communications and reputation management initiatives
- Organize press conferences, promotional events, exhibitions, and media tours
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field
- Additional certifications in digital marketing or integrated marketing technologies are considered an asset
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in public relations, media, digital marketing, communications, or a related field, with experience developing and executing integrated marketing and digital media strategies
- Strong understanding of branding, audience targeting, media strategy, and digital marketing best practices
- Experience using analytics, customer insights, and campaign reporting to develop data-driven marketing strategies and optimize campaign performance
- Proven ability to create engaging written and visual content across multiple platforms while maintaining brand consistency
- Experience managing multiple client accounts, projects, timelines, and deliverables in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional writing, editing, communication, project management, and organizational skills
- Creative thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented mindset
- Ability to meet tight deadlines, adapt to evolving priorities, and execute projects with accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, media contacts, stakeholders, and internal teams
- Passion for communications, media, digital marketing, and brand storytelling

Pay: $45,000.00-$58,000.00 per year
