About the Role
We are seeking skilled and dependable Production bakers to join our team in a high-volume, fast-paced bakery environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience producing artisan and commercial breads, pastries, and cake decorating skills, thrives under pressure, and takes pride in consistency, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, mix, shape, proof, and bake a variety of breads and rolls
- Follow recipes and production schedules accurately
- Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently
- Monitor dough fermentation and baking quality
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards throughout the workspace
- Assist with inventory management and ingredient preparation
- Work collaboratively with the bakery team to meet daily production goals
- Follow recipes according to our standards
- Maintain consistency in product appearance, texture, and taste
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of professional bread baking / cake decorating/ bakery production experience
- Strong knowledge of dough handling, fermentation, and baking techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Food safety certification is an asset
