Overview
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Plumber to join our professional team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, construction, and related trades, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial and residential settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes. Applicants must hold a valid plumbing license and demonstrate proficiency with various tools and technical skills. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects with a reputable company committed to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in commercial and residential buildings
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan work effectively
Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction tools to complete tasks efficiently
Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during installation or repair projects
Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues before they become major problems
Collaborate with team members including carpenters, HVAC technicians, and construction workers to coordinate project efforts
Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used

Skills

Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems, HVAC units, and general construction practices
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading
Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for installations or repairs
Experience with carpentry skills relevant to plumbing installations or modifications
Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques for handling large pipes or equipment safely
Familiarity with commercial driving preferred for transporting materials or equipment between sites
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently on-site
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
