About Vincent Design
Vincent Design is an Indigenous-led creative agency based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We work with organizations across Canada to create thoughtful, meaningful work across brand, design, marketing, digital, and web.
A significant part of our work is with Indigenous organizations, communities, governments, and businesses, and we take pride in building strong relationships with the people we work alongside. We’re a collaborative team that values good ideas, attention to detail, accountability, and creating work that makes an impact.
The Role
We’re looking for a Web Content Coordinator to join our team and support the delivery of website projects and ongoing website work.
This is a junior-to-intermediate, execution-focused role for someone who is a strong writer and editor, exceptionally organized, comfortable working with clients, and interested in the intersection of content, websites, and digital experiences.
You’ll work closely with our strategy, design, development, and project teams to help move website content from collection and development through to final publication.
This role is not responsible for owning high-level content or UX strategy. Instead, you’ll play an important part in making sure the strategy is executed well — ensuring content is clear, organized, accurate, approved, properly formatted, and ready for launch.
What You’ll Do
- Write, edit, and proofread website content for clarity, consistency, grammar, tone, and alignment with brand standards
- Organize and coordinate website content and assets, including copy, images, documents, approvals, and other required materials
- Add, update, format, and publish website content using WordPress
- Conduct detailed content QA before websites launch, checking copy, links, formatting, consistency, missing assets, and other content-related issues
- Coordinate content requirements, revisions, approvals, and outstanding client inputs throughout website projects
- Follow up with clients to help keep content collection and approvals moving forward
- Support ongoing website maintenance clients, including content updates and client communication
- Work collaboratively with strategists, designers, developers, project managers, and other members of the website team
- Communicate directly and professionally with clients throughout website projects
- Help ensure website content follows established accessibility, SEO, UX, and web-content best practices
- Support content organization, hierarchy, sitemapping, and information architecture as required
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need to be a developer or senior content strategist, but you should be someone who understands how good content works on the web and enjoys bringing all the pieces of a website together.
You’ll be a strong fit if you have:
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, particularly for web content
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- The ability to manage multiple pieces of content, feedback, approvals, and deadlines at once
- Experience working with a content management system (CMS), ideally WordPress
- An understanding of web-content best practices
- Basic knowledge of SEO and digital accessibility
- A working understanding of UX principles, information architecture, content hierarchy, and sitemapping
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence communicating directly with clients and building positive working relationships
- The ability to work collaboratively across different disciplines
- The ability to take direction and turn strategy, feedback, and requirements into polished final content
What Success Looks Like
In this role, you’ll help make sure our website projects stay organized and that content doesn’t become a bottleneck.
You’ll be someone the team can rely on to know what content is outstanding, what needs approval, what needs editing, and what is ready to go live. You’ll catch the broken link, inconsistent heading, missing image, or awkward sentence before the client does — and you’ll help make the entire website delivery process smoother for both our clients and our internal team.
Working at Vincent Design
You’ll be joining a multidisciplinary team working across web, design, brand, marketing, and strategy. Our projects vary significantly in size, industry, and scope, which means there’s always something new to work on and plenty of opportunity to build your skills.
We value people who are collaborative, curious, dependable, comfortable asking questions, and willing to jump in where they can add value.
Experience working with Indigenous organizations or communities is an asset, but it is not required. More importantly, we’re looking for someone who approaches this work with professionalism, respect, curiosity, and a willingness to learn.
How to Apply
Please submit your resume along with a brief introduction telling us a little about yourself and why you’re interested in the Web Content Coordinator role.
If you have examples of website content, writing, editing, WordPress work, or other relevant projects, we’d be happy to see those too.
We appreciate all applications and will contact candidates selected to move forward in the recruitment process.
