Full job description

Position Summary

The Corporate Controller will oversee all accounting and financial reporting functions while ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, organized, proactive, and experienced in managing accounting operations within a dynamic business environment.

You will work closely with leadership to improve financial visibility, strengthen controls, support strategic decision-making, and optimize accounting workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliations
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Lead month-end and year-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements
Develop, implement, and maintain internal financial controls and accounting policies
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting processes
Analyze financial performance and provide actionable recommendations to leadership
Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax professionals
Improve accounting systems, reporting automation, and operational efficiency
Monitor financial risks and support strategic financial planning initiatives
Maintain accurate documentation and financial records
Support executive leadership with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional designation preferred
5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
Previous experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller, or Senior Accounting Manager preferred
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls
Experience managing full-cycle accounting operations
Advanced proficiency with Excel and accounting software systems
Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS principles
Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Strong communication and leadership abilities
High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail

Pay: $82,123.31-$155,710.67 per year
