Full job description

Job Overview:

Work is locate to Spruce Grove, AB. Calibre Drilling is looking for a motivated and hardworking Water Well Driller Helper with a valid Class 3 license including manual transmission vehicle experience to support our drilling operations. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the drilling industry, working alongside skilled professionals in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the water well driller in the setup, operation, and maintenance of drilling equipment
Prepare and organize tools, materials, and equipment for daily tasks
Help ensure the drill site is clean, safe, and operationally ready
Load, unload, and transport drilling materials and equipment to and from the site
Assist with equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic repairs as needed
Monitor drilling operations and report any issues or concerns to the driller
Help with the assembling and disassembling drill rigs
Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies
Complete daily reports and assist in documenting project progress

Requirements:

Valid Class 3 license - with manual transmission experience and a clean driving record
Previous experience in construction or drilling considered an asset
Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy equipment
Ability to work in various weather conditions and remote locations
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Safety-focused with knowledge of job site safety practices
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn about equipment maintenance and operation
Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a team setting
First Aid, H2S, or any other safety certifications considered an asset
