Founded in 2006, Triple Eight Transport Inc is an asset-based carrier company with terminals in Abbotsford, Calgary, and Edmonton! We provide Full Truck Load Transportation Services to and from major cities in Western Canada and Western US with our own fleet of Reefers, and Dry Vans. Triple Eight Transport is dedicated to personal career growth, our success is directly attributed to our dedicated and talented team of professionals who work hard together to achieve a common purpose - To provide efficient transport services that add value to our customers and to grow our business through safe operations, innovation, and continued excellence.

The Overnight Dispatch is responsible for building and maintaining strong business relationships with multiple drivers to seamlessly coordinate them to successfully service customer loads. Monitor logistic transactions in the evening while communicating effectively and efficiently both internally and externally to achieve high levels of service.

Responsibilities will include:

Communicating with drivers regularly to ensure on time delivery, sending and receiving all information relevant to the driver performing his/her duties within the Company and customer requirements
Handling all driver related satellite messages or calls within assigned and overflow queues
Reporting and documenting of all customer service, planning and driver related issues to the appropriate personnel
Preparing customs clearance paperwork and ensuring it has been submitted the customs broker
Following up with customs brokers to ensure clearances are completed in a timely manner
Arranging and booking in repairs for in transit truck breakdowns

Qualifications

Analytical and critical thinking skills
Must have reliable transportation
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Proven team player with ability to align position goals with corporate strategic goals
Ability to multitask
Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience would be an asset
Must be legally allowed to work full time in Canada

Must be able to work on weekends.
Must be able to work 11:00PM - 7:00 AM
