Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. This role requires proficiency in accounting software (Sage, QBD, QBO) and a strong understanding of financial processes.

Proven excellent knowledge of bank reconciliations is a major benefit and will affect the starting wage.

No remote work available. All work is to be conducted in office.

Duties

Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers and journals.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Perform account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage and Dext for efficient record keeping.
Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information.
Assist fellow team members.
Support management in tasks.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper.
Proficiency in accounting software (QBD, QBO and Sage) is required.
Proficiency to learn new technology.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills for interaction with team members and management.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
