Full job description

LINEA Ceilings & Wall Systems,
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Draftsperson to join our team in Abbotsford BC. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career and grow into a Project Manager position within our organization. You will play a key role in creating accurate shop drawings, supporting project teams, and ensuring client specifications are met with precision.

This is a full-time position from Mon-Fri, 7:00AM -4:00PM

Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed and accurate 2D/3D CAD drawings for ceiling and wall systems based on project specifications
Collaborate with project managers, production, and design teams to deliver technical drawings that meet manufacturing standards
Review architectural plans and specifications to identify design challenges and opportunities
Support project managers by coordinating technical details with clients, contractos, and architects
Maintain organized project documentation and ensure timely delivery of drafting work
Proactively engage in learning and development with a view to transitioning into project management

Experience

Diploma in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering Technology, or at least 3 years proven experience in drafting within architecture, engineering, or construction environments with a strong portfolio of completed projects
Proficiency in CAD software including AUTOCAD
Experience with Revit, or similar is an asset
Knowledge of construction processes and strong understanding of construction drawings, architectural plans, and technical detailing
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and clients
Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail
