This full time role involves handling incoming calls, providing excellent customer service, and efficiently managing information through data entry. Duties
- Answer a high volume of incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Gather and verify customer information accurately to be entered into the dispatch system.
- Provide detailed information about products or services, addressing customer inquiries regarding estimated arrival times and service status.
- Communicate with tow truck operators via phone, radio and messaging systems.
- Process payments and maintain accurate records when required.
- Collaborate with team members to provide exceptional customer service
- Work closely with drivers, management, police, roadside assistance providers, and insurance companies.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
- Strong data entry and computer skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping
- Customer service experience with a focus on professionalism.
- Ability to handle high call volumes while maintaining composure and efficiency
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify customer needs and recommend suitable solutions.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Knowledge of Edmonton and surrounding areas is considered an asset.
- Previous customer service, dispatch, call centre, or towing industry experience is considered an asset.
Schedule
- Full-time position.
- 10-hour shifts.
- Days, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays may be required.
- Overtime opportunities may be available.
