Job Overview

We are seeking a caring and responsible In Home Childcare Provider/Nanny to provide attentive and nurturing care for children in a family’s residence. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment that promotes the child's development and well-being. This role involves assisting with daily routines, educational activities, meal preparation, and light household tasks related to child care. The position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives while working in a warm and family-oriented setting.

Responsibilities

Provide attentive supervision and care for children in their home environment.
Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs.
Assist with daily routines including bathing, dressing, and nap times.
Engage children in age-appropriate educational activities, playtime, and developmental exercises.
Support learning through teaching basic skills, reading, and creative play.
Perform light housekeeping tasks related to child care such as cleaning toys, laundry, and tidying up play areas.
Accommodate special needs or disabilities by implementing appropriate caregiving strategies.
Foster a safe, nurturing atmosphere that encourages curiosity and emotional growth.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily activities, milestones, and any concerns.

Skills

Experience working with children of various ages and backgrounds.
Ability to prepare healthy meals and snacks suited for children’s nutritional requirements.
Compassionate caregiving skills with patience and understanding.
Knowledge of basic cleaning routines related to child safety and hygiene.
Ability to work with individuals with disabilities when necessary, adapting activities accordingly.
Teaching skills to support early childhood development through engaging activities.
Cooking skills for meal preparation that meets dietary preferences or restrictions.
Strong organizational skills to manage daily schedules efficiently.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with parents and family members.

Pay: $17.20-$35.87 per hour
