Full job description

Are you a seeking company that values their employees as tough as steel than this Rolling Machine & Overhead Crane Operator to join our manufacturing team is for you. This role involves operating heavy machinery to facilitate the safe and efficient movement of materials and products within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and experience hydraulic rolling machinery. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where safety, precision, and teamwork are paramount.

Duties

Operate rolling machines and overhead cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials or equipment with precision.
Set-up, operate, and trouble shout the hydraulic plate rolling machine
Ability to ready and interpret part drawings
Knowledge of carbon steel grades and features
Process parts according the specific instructions from the work orders
Maintain clear communication with team members regarding load status, safety concerns, and operational updates.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures during operation to prevent accidents or injuries.

Qualifications

Proven experience operating overhead cranes, rolling machines.
Strong mechanical knowledge related to crane operation certified preferred
Strong mathematical skills and measurement skills
Ability to utilize measuring tools, hand, and power tools
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and ensuring safety compliance.
Knowledge of safety standards related to crane operation and heavy machinery use.
Computer literate.
Must be able to work afternoon shift but train for 3-8wks on dayshift

This role is integral to maintaining efficient production workflows while prioritizing safety and teamwork across our operations.

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
