Front of House District Manager – Calgary & Airdrie

Stacked Pancake & Breakfast House
Locations: North Calgary & Airdrie, Alberta

About Stacked Pancake & Breakfast House

Stacked Pancake & Breakfast House is a growing, family-friendly breakfast and lunch restaurant group known for bold flavours, generous portions, all-day breakfast favourites, and exceptional guest service.

We currently operate 4 locations across North Calgary and Airdrie, all within approximately 35 km of each other. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced restaurant leader who can help us maintain strong operations, develop great teams, and deliver a consistently excellent guest experience across all locations.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Front of House District Manager to oversee FOH operations across our 4 restaurants.

This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for supporting and developing our Front of House Managers, ensuring appropriate staffing and scheduling, managing labour and food costs, maintaining operational standards, and driving guest satisfaction.

The successful candidate will be an energetic, organized, and people-focused restaurant leader who is comfortable working across multiple locations and leading through coaching, accountability, and example.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary support and point of contact for all Front of House Managers across 4 locations.
Coach, mentor, and provide ongoing performance feedback to FOH leadership teams.
Ensure each restaurant has the appropriate staffing levels to support daily operations, peak breakfast/lunch periods, seasonality, and employee availability.
Review and approve weekly FOH schedules while optimizing staffing levels and labour costs.
Monitor labour and food costs across all locations and work with managers to identify opportunities for improvement.
Lead and support hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, disciplinary action, and terminations for FOH team members.
Conduct regular visits, operational audits, and walkthroughs to ensure brand standards are consistently maintained.
Ensure restaurants meet cleanliness, presentation, service, food safety, and operational standards.
Support managers in preparing for and responding to health inspections and other regulatory requirements.
Handle escalated guest concerns and implement solutions that improve the overall guest experience.
Monitor key performance indicators including labour %, food cost, guest satisfaction, audit results, staffing levels, and other operational metrics.
Work closely with ownership and restaurant managers to improve efficiency, reduce waste, control costs, and increase profitability.
Help develop and maintain a positive, energetic, accountable, and guest-focused team culture.
Identify operational challenges and take initiative to implement practical solutions across multiple locations.
Support the continued growth and development of the Stacked brand.

What We're Looking For

3–5+ years of restaurant management experience, preferably with multi-unit, district, or area management experience.
Experience managing Front of House operations in casual dining, breakfast/brunch, family dining, or quick-service restaurants.
Proven ability to lead and develop restaurant management and FOH teams.
Strong understanding of staffing, scheduling, labour management, and restaurant cost control.
Experience with hiring, training, coaching, performance management, and team development.
Knowledge of Alberta food safety, health and safety requirements, and restaurant inspection

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
