Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner/Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our facilities. This position requires a strong commitment to cleanliness and the ability to perform various cleaning and maintenance tasks effectively.

Duties

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas.
Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas needing attention or maintenance.
Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with company policies.
Assist with minor facilities maintenance tasks as needed to ensure a safe environment.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures while performing cleaning duties.

Qualifications

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to cleaning and maintenance tasks.
