We are looking for Caregivers, Certified Personal Support Workers,or International Nurses to assist seniors in their homes throughout the communities of Markham and Thornhill.

We are looking to fill multiple open roles for multiple 24-hour live-in shifts per week.

Responsibilities:

Companionship and conversation
Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
Medication reminders
Personal Care assistance
Mobility and transfer support
Alzheimer’s Care
Hospice and Palliative support

Requirements:

Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
Possessing a valid driver's license, a vehicle, and valid auto insurance is an asset but not required
Complete a criminal background check
Must be okay with working live-in shifts where you will be staying with the client for a few days per week while you work
Completion of Personal Support Worker diploma, OR Completion of a Nursing Degree in any country, OR current enrollment in a nursing program are all assets, but not required

This position requires availability on alternating weekends (typically Friday through Sunday) on an ongoing basis. Are you able to commit to this schedule?
Are you able to reliably travel to client homes located in Markham, Unionville and Thornhill?
This is a live-in position requiring you to stay overnight in a client's home for 2-5 consecutive days while providing care and support. Are you comfortable committing to this type of work arrangement?
How many years of experience do you have providing care to seniors as a PSW, caregiver, or in a similar role?

Licence/Certification:

PSW Certification from an accredited Ontario school (required)
