Full job description

A computer parts and repair company in Markham is hiring an organized, detail-oriented person to take charge of our stock room and online product listings.

THE WORK

- Organize, count and recount parts inventory

- Keep bins and shelves labelled, tidy and easy to search

- Identify and clear out obsolete and dead stock

- Photograph items and create product listings using our in-house listing system (FULL TRAINING PROVIDED, no prior experience with it needed)

- Write accurate item descriptions from labels and part numbers (model, condition, specs)

- Receive and check in incoming shipments

- Keep the stock area clean and orderly

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- Organized, accurate and patient with detail - this job is counting and consistency

- Comfortable using a computer and a phone camera; able to type reasonably

- Able to lift boxes and be on your feet

- Reliable and honest - you will be trusted with our inventory

- Retail, warehouse, stockroom or online-selling experience is a plus, but WE WILL TRAIN THE RIGHT PERSON

- Enough written English to produce a clear product description

WHAT WE OFFER

- $17-$19/hour depending on experience

- Part-time, flexible indoor hours, small friendly team

- Full training on our systems

- Room to take on more responsibility over time
