Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Concession Worker and become the friendly face that delivers exceptional food service experiences! In this lively role, you’ll be responsible for preparing and serving delicious snacks and beverages, operating POS systems to process transactions accurately, and ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create memorable moments that keep customers coming back for more. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food handling, customer service, and the food industry while working in a fast-paced, energetic setting.

Responsibilities

Prepare a variety of concession items including snacks, drinks, and light food offerings with efficiency and quality.
Operate POS systems such as Square to process cash and card transactions swiftly and accurately.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all work areas, including food prep stations and serving counters.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience.
Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including giving correct change and balancing registers at shift end.
Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock levels.

Requirements

Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential!
Familiarity with POS systems such as Square or similar technology is a plus.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory counting.
Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
Restaurant or food industry experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, or holidays as needed.
