At Shift Collab, we're a women-led, award-winning collective of over 100 Social Workers and Psychotherapists reshaping virtual mental health care across Canada. We're growing fast, and we're looking for therapists who want to be part of building something real. This is a contractor role.

A note up front: we're a gym, not a spa. You'll need to show up ready to engage. No waiting for things to happen. If that energy fits you, keep reading.

What This Role Actually Looks Like

We invest heavily in growing your caseload through marketing, client matching, and a strong referral engine. What we need from you is a partner in that effort: someone who shows up consistently, runs excellent Meet and Greet sessions, converts those into long-term clients, and builds the kind of trust that keeps people coming back. We do the heavy lifting on visibility and ops.

What We Handle, So You Don't Have To

Billing, scheduling, client intake admin, tech, EMR, and back-office support, all covered. Plus marketing initiatives that spotlight your specialties and bring clients your way. Your time goes to clinical work and client relationships.

Strong Meet and Greet sessions that build trust and convert prospective clients into long-term care
Consistent, high-quality care that retains clients over time

Flexibility with consistency. Set your own hours and work from home. Part-time starts at 10 hours/week, full-time at 20 hours. Enough to give clients reliable care and you a sustainable rhythm.

What You Bring

Master's in Social Work or Counselling Psychology, registered as an MSW RSW or RP
5+ years of post-licensure experience
Professional liability insurance
Reliable internet and a secure, private workspace
Strong virtual therapy skills and comfort with telehealth platforms
Specialized experience (e.g., trauma, perinatal, mood disorders, ADHD, gender-affirming care, relationships) and certification in evidence-based modalities
Additional languages are a strong asset
A genuine commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and to working with a diverse client base

Professional references and a Vulnerable Sector Check required for all successful candidates
