Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Barn Help to assist with daily farm operations. This role involves maintaining the barn, caring for 24 horse, 2 goats, 2 donkies, 3 cats. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a passion for farm life. This position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in natural horsemanship and contribute to the smooth running of the farm.

Duties

Assist with feeding, watering, and caring for horses and other farm animals
Perform cleaning and maintenance of barns, stalls, and surrounding areas to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
Help with loading, unloading, and moving supplies or feed using heavy lifting techniques.
Assist in general farm chores including fencing, watering yard.
Follow safety protocols during all activities to prevent accidents or injuries

Qualifications

Prior experience or knowledge of horses would be preferred.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Basic understanding of farm operations and animal care preferred
Strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to learn new skills
Ability to follow instructions carefully and work independently or as part of a team . Have a willingness to learn good communication skills.
