Part-time or Full-time applicants welcome.

Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday 9am – 6pm (part-time hours negotiable)

We are hiring a Registered Pharmacy Technician who will work under the direction of the Pharmacist and/or Lead Technician.. Duties and responsibilities for this position will include but are not limited to:

Non-sterile compounding and maintaining workflow in the lab
Sterile compounding
Data entry of patient care information using the Kroll Software computer system
Assisting the Pharmacist and/or Pharmacy Assistant(s) prepare, package, and label medications
Handle general OTC enquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist where required
Maintaining inventory in lab
Maintaining proper drug storage and security
Placing and receiving orders for stock to maintain inventory
Handling customer prescription pick up and assisting with cash register sales as required
MAIN duties will include making capsules and helping package compounds

Experience as a Pharmacy Technician is an ASSET particularly in non-sterile and sterile compounding but it is not required. Appropriate training will be offered to the right candidate as necessary.

Candidates must be licensed with the Alberta College of Pharmacy as a Registered Pharmacy Technician or be in the process of obtaining this credential in the near future. The successful candidate will feature excellent organizational skills with a focus on detail; be highly motivated to contribute and succeed; and will display strong, efficient customer service and communication skills.

This job opportunity will focus on both dispensary and lab duties.
