POSITION SUMMARY:

MasTec Purnell is currently accepting resumes for Pipeline Labourers from Grande Prairie and surrounding areas, with an immediate start.

Preference will be given to those candidates LOCAL to Grande Prairie and surrounding areas.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Previous work experience as pipeline labourer would be an asset
Previous experience operating cruisers would be an asset
First Aid
H2S Alive
CSO
Canusa (Sleeving ticket)

Preference will be given to those with additional experience & safety tickets:

Telehandler/Zoom Boom
Aerial Work Platform
Skid Steer

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for promoting and living out MasTec Purnell Canada’s 6 Core Values
Valid Class 5 driver's license is required
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Valid Safety Tickets
Ability to identify and report hazards
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
Effective attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
Read and interpret documents such as safety rules
Respectful, pro-active, high-energy, positive attitude and team player
