Overview
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Business Development Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will drive growth by developing new business opportunities, managing key client accounts, and fostering strong relationships within the B2B (business-to-business) landscape. Your enthusiasm for sales and technical understanding will help expand our market presence and ensure client satisfaction at every touchpoint.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify and contact potential clients through networking and marketing methods
- Phone clients/leads to inquire about upcoming projects and business opportunities
- Schedule in person and virtual meetings with clients at their head quarters and field locations
- Conduct site visits and project scoping to identify products and services that can be offered to the clients
- Develop and expand into new markets and service areas
- Attend trade shows, industry networks and community events
- Plan and direct marketing or advertising campaigns
- Collaborate with the sales and management teams to meet targets
- Create sales presentations for potential clients
- Request feedback from existing clients regarding Kandrea’s performance and work with senior management to address client complaints or concerns
- Perform market analysis to understand the coverage in various segments and each client’s business areas and divisions
- Participate in developing a multi year calendar for regulatory maintenance and turnaround activities across potential geographic areas and target sectors
- Stay up to date with the approval and progress of key projects in the public, industrial and commercial sectors
- Promote Kandrea brand though advertising and promotion campaigns
- Document the daily activities as per Kandrea’s business development process and suggest improvements to the established practices
Education & Experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in business development and account management
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
- Valid Drivers License (with a clean Drivers Abstract)
- Previous experience/knowledge of Industrial projects, especially Insulation and Scaffolding, would be an asset

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to explain complex concepts clearly
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability plan and organize sales presentations, meeting, marketing strategies, and more
- Knowledge in interpreting company financial data and the ability to analyze it
- Familiarity with social media, industry publications, and competitors
- A good understanding of how market research works and what results mean for a business
- Independence and resourcefulness, with the ability to work in a team environment
Salary
We offer a competitive salary based on experience and qualifications. In addition to an annual base salary, there will be performance bonuses associated with client development and relationship building.
Travel Requirements
The selected candidate will be required to travel frequently, arranging in-person meetings with various clients across Western Canada. Travel expenses will be covered, and a company vehicle will be provided.

- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute account strategies, including forecasting sales, reporting on performance metrics (KPIs), and conducting market research.

Pay: $85,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
